About Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is one of the most spectacular natural wonders in North America and among Canada's most famous landmarks. Straddling the border between Canada and the United States, the falls consist of three distinct cascades: the Horseshoe Falls (Canadian side), the American Falls, and the smaller Bridal Veil Falls (both on the US side).

The Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side are the most impressive, with water thundering down a 57-meter (188-foot) drop at a rate of approximately 168,000 cubic meters (6 million cubic feet) per minute during peak flow. This breathtaking display of nature's power creates a misty atmosphere and the continuous roar of rushing water that visitors can feel in their chests.

Beyond the falls themselves, the surrounding Niagara region has developed into a complete tourist destination with entertainment, dining, wineries, and family attractions, making it suitable for visitors of all ages and interests.
